Con marzo incomincia la stagione delle scuole: la gita scolastica al Lato azzurro, ogni settimana dal lunedì al venerdì, permette di unire alla visita storico artistica di Venezia attività didattiche e sportive a stretto contatto con la natura straordinaria della laguna: Kayak, dragon boat, educazione ambientale, fattoria didattica nell'isola degli orti, archeologia al Lazzaretto Nuovo, bicicletta, spiaggia... Contattate il responsabile Scuole del Lato azzurro e potrete costruire anche all'ultimo momento un programma su misura per la Vostra classe, per uno o più pernottamenti in laguna di Venezia: emanuele@latoazzurro.it

The Holiday centre

A holiday with a difference, at any time of the year, for lovers of Nature, Sea and...VENICE!

Venice is different, and this is a different way to visit Venice.
Open all year for individual, group or school holidays, and for workshops.

Our hospitality in the island of S.Erasmo
is offered in spacious rooms with en suite bathroom: single, double, triple and with extra beds (for groups and families or for single people whom wish to save by sharing a room with others.)
The structure is ideal for excursions and study visits, scholastic and practical workshops, seminars and conferences for small and medium sized groups.
In the house there is a big dining room (with adjacent smaller living room) for eating meals and to carry out activities, as well as a large veranda that overlooks the spacious garden facing onto the Venetian lagoon.
There are no televisions in the bedrooms, but there are a variety of books and magazines, for young and old.
If asked for the guests can have a nice book.
Here you can take part in recreational, sport, or cultural activities.
There are 20 bicycles available for the guests and we offer itineraries for Venice, and the other islands and beaches, also in kayak.
For adults and children, we offer educational course on peace and interculture, workshops and excursions on environmental education, training for the facilitation of group dynamics…
And also…
We offer international cultural exchanges, themed holidays /retreats, yoga and massage, gay and lesbian holidays (Sebastian week…), Italian language courses for foreigners, photographic and painting exhibitions…
We host free of charge, for one night, artists who want to perform for other guests (shows of dance, music, song, storytelling, theatre, with a maximum of three persons at a time, in which one show = a night free of charge in a double or single room. To take advantage of this offer it is necessary to contact us and send us a brief curriculum (ask for Emanuele).
Domestic animals are permitted, of small dimensions and non-aggressive (!!!) and used to staying indoors.

All year ( high season runs from March until October, at Christmas – New Year and Carnival)

Type of cooking
Mediterranean cooking, with vegetarian option with ample use of vegetables from the island (traditional orchard of Venice)
This is accompanied by wine from Piemont (the best reds) and Veneto/Friuli (the best whites).
Breakfast is rich and traditional, with a good choice of Fair Trade products (CTM).

Discount for long stay: 10% discount for periods of at least 6 nights.
