Con marzo incomincia la stagione delle scuole: la gita scolastica al Lato azzurro, ogni settimana dal lunedì al venerdì, permette di unire alla visita storico artistica di Venezia attività didattiche e sportive a stretto contatto con la natura straordinaria della laguna: Kayak, dragon boat, educazione ambientale, fattoria didattica nell'isola degli orti, archeologia al Lazzaretto Nuovo, bicicletta, spiaggia... Contattate il responsabile Scuole del Lato azzurro e potrete costruire anche all'ultimo momento un programma su misura per la Vostra classe, per uno o più pernottamenti in laguna di Venezia: info@latoazzurro.it

Dal carnevale 2011 Il lato azzurro riaprirà, dopo un breve periodo di chiusura invernale, con una nuova gestione: insieme a Tonino ci saranno July, Gholam e Susanna ad animare il centro culturale, l'albergo e il ristorante di S.Erasmo, gli appartamenti Casa Gialla e Casa Azzurra a Venezia Cannaregio, con grande entusiasmo e voglia di rinnovare, nel rispetto di quanto costruito in 15 anni di gestione precedente. Emanuele, fondatore del lato azzurro, saluta tutti/e gli/le ospiti e amici/che che ci hanno sostenuto in questi anni felici veneziani e augura alla nuova gestione altrettanta e maggiore fortuna!

Venice is different, and this is a different way to visit Venice.
Open all year for individual, group or school holidays, and workshops.
Our hospitality at Lato Azzurro on the island of S.Erasmo offers spacious rooms with en suite bathrooms: single, double, triple and with extra beds (for groups and families or for single people whom wish to save by sharing a room with others.)
The structure is ideal for excursions and study visits, scholastic and practical workshops, seminars and conferences for small and medium sized groups.
In the house there is a big dining room for meals and to carry out activities, as well as a large veranda that overlooks the spacious garden facing the Venetian lagoon.
There are no televisions in the bedrooms, but there are a variety of books and magazines, for young and old.
Here you can take part in recreational, sport, or cultural activities.
There are many bicycles available for the guests and we offer itineraries for Venice, and the other islands and beaches, also in kayak.
For adults and school children, we offer workshops and excursions on environmental education.
We also offer international cultural exchanges, themed holidays /retreats, yoga and massage, gay and lesbian holidays (Sebastian week…), Italian language courses for foreigners, photographic and painting exhibitions…
Pets are permitted, small and non-aggressive please(!!!) and must be used to staying indoors.

All year ( high season runs from March until October, at Christmas – New Year and Carnival)
The Cuisine
Mediterranean cooking, with vegetarian options using vegetables from the island.
This is accompanied by wine from Piemont (the best reds) and Veneto/Friuli (the best whites).
Breakfast is rich and traditional, with a good choice of Fair Trade products (CTM).
